Contingent Search
We recommend the contingent search model to source niche talent, hard-to-fill roles that are an immediate priority for your organization. Typically, this model would be used when hiring individual contributors up to and potentially including mid-level managers.
On a contingent search, we focus on finding the best available talent as efficiently as possible. Our turnaround time to have a candidate in front of a client on a contingent search averages less than 3 days.
The contingent search model also allows for a more flexible approach to hiring the ideal candidate.
There are 3 Primary Hiring Models Within a Contingent Search:
- Direct Hire (Sometimes called Permanent Hire or Headhunting)
- Client hires candidate as a full-time employee on day one.
- Contract-To-Hire (Sometimes called Temp-To-Perm)
- Candidate starts as a full-time employee of Laine Recruiting while performing services as a contract resource for the client. After an agreed upon duration, client hires employee directly (or can buy-out contract early).
- Project-Based (Sometimes called Contract or Temp Staffing)
- Candidate is hired as and remains a full-time employee of Laine Recruiting while performing services as a contract resource for the client.
